There have been eyes all over the globe focused on Microsoft’s next generation gaming console lately. Xbox 720 developer kit has been the hot topic over the weekend for its alleged sale on a game company’s forum. Sources from AAA next-generation games have confirmed that the machine was real and was sold for $ 10,000.
If you are curious to know that how Xbox looks like then there is something interesting to know here that it was merely a developer kit and was housed in a pc tower. Its hardware was the main thing which was similar to the specs of Xbox 720.
Now what was in it was an interesting thing and let me tell you about the hardware details. As per the reports it consisted of NVIDIA graphics card and an Intel CPU. No other details were revealed yet the Dev Kit is said to have over 64-bit 8GB RAM as Microsoft wants an 8-core CPU in final retail version of hardware.
As the previous technologies by both the market leaders, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Play Station 3 are old now for the gaming fans. All eyes are looking forward for what’s next in future which may bring them the advanced and improved hardware specs. Microsoft’s next generation gaming console Xbox 720 is the hope.
