Whenever it comes to the operating system, the only word that gets into our heads is Microsoft. It has no doubt ruled the entire PC market but the era is going too far from the desktop. This is the era of the tablets and when it comes to the tablets, Apple is the King so far. The sale of Apple’s iPad has dwarfed every other tablet in the market. We all know that the real reason of the huge marketing of iPad is the operating system used in Apple’s devices i.e. iOS.
Microsoft is intending to unleash a new generation of Windows that is Windows 8 and this is the big attempt of the Microsoft to regain the repute it used to had few years back. Apple has now surpassed Microsoft and was crowned as the world’s most valuable company last year. the same title was held by Microsoft previously. The sheer dominance of the Apple int he entire electronics market is not the Macintosh computers or their operating system but the only reason is the very popularity of the iPad.
The extremely good marketing strategy and very low price has not decreased the sale from the day iPad hit the shelves last year. From he debut of the ipad till date, more than 25 million iPads have been sold. many of the competitors showed up but all in vain, Not a single one was able enough to make any change in the growing popularity of iPad. Countless Android tablets came in but no one made any detectable mark and has fallen by the wayside. In short there is no alternative to the iPad.
Now Microsoft is going to make a pledge for its repute and has announced to unleash Windows 8 which will be running on both the desktop and the tablets. We all have already tasted the capabilities of touch already at the D9 conference in the beginning of the year, but along with the unleashed Windows 8, there is a possibility of Microsoft to unleash a tablet along with it.
In an attempt to create an alternative to the iPad, inner sources suggest that the indicated tablet will be manufactured by Samsung or it can be designed by Microsoft. The launch of Windows new generation along with a tablet will surely be notified in the world and people will also be testing it, but no one knows that will it replicate the most famous tablet on earth.
