AT&T is one of the largest carriers of the most famous smartphone that ever existed. Yes we are talking about the iPhone and the same company has now announced that they will start unlocking the Off-contract iPhones. AT&T announced and started this service on April 8, 2012. As it was announced, the company has started taking orders for the unlock and if you are off-contract then you are eligible. You can send in your device to AT&T and if your contract has terminated and you’ve paid the termination fee then you are eligible to take this service.

Now the question arrives about the working of this unlock method. The principle is quite simple and the best part is that it takes couple of minutes. You don’t have to submit your device and other stuff, you are simply done within some minutes.

Another thing which we have been receiving from the users of AT&T who are outside USA is about the service. They should know that their eligibility depends on the IMEI number of their device and they have to contact the AT&T support. The company will check your IUMEI number and will tell you if you are eligible for the unlock service or not.

For those who are outside the USA and want their devices unlocked must try this number +1-800-288-2020 and they will let you know about the process. If you are lucky enough to be eligible for the unlock, you will get an email saying this:
