Apple launched iPhone 4S and with the release the Dev team also came into move. We recently had the video which elaborated the baseband unlock for the device.

It used the bug in the system and helped us unlock the baseband. The unlock trick was also carrier specific as the developers said that it will only be working with AT&T.

Now lets have a look what Muscle nerd, one of the prominent member of iPhone Dev Team which is now telling us the real work behind the unlock, It is not basically a bug rather it is a method to activate your phone with the carrier and the method is newer one. Now the trick is that this method gives us the space to put our new sim from another carrier into the device and this unlock works for only few seconds.

Basically the unlock is based on TMSI of the iPhone and when your device refreshes the TMSI the unlock is gone. So it is of no use and it may also result in malfunctioning of your sim card.

The company has released the iPhone with iOS 5 and the users with devices other than iPhone 4S which are iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS have updates the operating system but forgot to update the baseband of their devices. The new baseband 04.11.08 is not very much easy to be cracked thought he iPhone Dev team is working on it.

This is not the only problem Apple iPhone Dev team is having right now, In the mean time they are also working the SHSH Blobs of Apple which does not allow the user to degrade your iOS to the previous versions once upgraded.

Well that baseband is unlocked for only some seconds and is useless so it is advised that you guys don’t waste your time doing that.

Did you already wasted your time in doing that useless unlock or you got lucky that you read this? Share your stories and stay connected with us.
