Apple has quite a closed eco system and it does not let the users to play and manipulate with the operating system. Apple does it on purpose but nothing to worry as we have a jailbreak community at our service. Jailbreakers know what is the difference between a jailbroken and non jailbroken device? Every thing that Apple does not want the users to play with, jailbreaking community is dedicated to provide you all that.

It allows you to have more access and control ont he operating system and the device is said to be more functional after jailbreak. OF you are considering any legality of the jailbreaking, then you must be delighted to hear that the jailbreaking is legal now.

Apple has the world’s best technical engineers to provide us the best technologies and applications. Their work speaks if yo have a sound look on the iOS and each year they come up with a new upgrade with far better options and tweaks for the users. Now what really has been the problem lately is that Apple has a policy that it does not let the users downgrade their operating system to the previous versions once they have upgraded.

What if you do not like the new versions? So there are chances that might make you feel more uncomfortable if you upgrade it and do not like the new version. There  is nothing to be done once updated.

As we told earlier nothing to worry about as we have the jailbreak community. A developer named Notcom has developed a jailbreak tool which allows you to downgrade the operating system even if Apple does not allows you. Isn’t it great? Well the tool is named as TinyUmbrella.

Apple has already made its ground to release the first major update of the iOS5 which is going to be iOS 5.1 and the company has now released the third beta of the iOS 5.1 to the developers. It means that the upgrade is coming your way any time from now and you must do the precautionary measures for downgrading.

TinyUmbrella lets you save your SHSH blobs for your iOS firmware which will be used to downgrade your iOS version in the coming days. TinyUmbrella update which is TinyUmbrella 5.10.06 is now released and brings support for the third beta of the iOS 5.1. It is time to save your SHSH blobs by now for downgrading yor firmware.

In the official note about the update, it said:

“Before you ask; Yes a solution for the 5.x firmware nonce is being investigated… None of us have a working solution yet though. Hang tight.

TinyUmbrella just got a small bugfix (hopefully I didn’t introduce even more bugs in this old codebase). There was a nasty UI locking issue when you clicked ‘Save SHSH’. I’ve partially fixed it. But now there’s flicker in the saved shshs window. <sigh>.

Anyway. TinyUmbrella is now updated for the 5.1b2-3 betas.

    Enjoy!”

Though there is not any jailbreak available for the A5 devices but the developers have joined their hands to bring it on. For non A5 device, the untethered jailbreak for the iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 has been released a couple of weeks back. There are chances that the untethered jailbreak is coming your way very son, it is highly recommended to save your SHSH blobs as soon as possible. There was a bug in the previous version of the TinyUmbrella which did not let the users save their blobs and the tool crashed in the midway. That bug is also removed in this update by the Notcom.

    TinyUmbrella for Mac OS X
    TinyUmbrella for Windows

Have you already saved your SHSH blobs or you suffered from the same crashing bug? You can download TimyUmbrella 5.10.06 now. In the end as usual feel free to write us back with your views in the comments. For more updates on the jailbreaking tools, stay connected with us.
