Sometimes I wonder what makes a company a brand, which is followed by millions of users. If you happen to look on all those factors which have made Steve Jobs’ company such a big hit that it has ruled out every other competitor that ever existed in the market. There are certain so many factors and one of them is the jailbreaking community.
Among other factors are Steve Jobs himself, his missions and visions, technology and the awesome iOS and above all its exploits. The jailbreaking is fun and the developers are making it even more delightful by providing the fans such awesome tweaks making almost every thing possible.
Without jailbreaking, the iOS would never have been such a remarkable mobile platform. Apple came up with a new generation iOS last year with brand new features including iCloud, notification center etc. The firmware has been facing many bugs and other issues lately and there are chances that you might not like the changes and want to stay on the same version of the iOS.
Apple has a policy that it does not allow any users who has upgraded the iSO to downgrade to any other previous versions. Well what to do if you have to downgrade or you don’t like the new versions.
The jailbreaking community has developed a tool to address this issue and as Apple avoids the downgrading using the technology of SHSH blobs, this tool lets you save the SHSH blobs of your iOS and this is what you will need to downgrade later. The name of the tool is TinyUmbrella and it is highly recommended that if you have not saved your SHS blobs already, then do it as soon as possible. The hackers and developers are also recommending this.
Few days later we reported about the TinyUmbrella update which is now supporting the second build tweaked version of iOS 5.0.1 which was released about a couple of weeks back by Apple.
A bunch of users have tried that and they faced a problem that the tool when launched in your device (PC or Machine) it crashes and thus eliminating the question of saving your SHSH blobs.
Now you must be delightful by reading this that the problem has been solved as the TinyUmbrella gets a small update. The developers are available all time to sort your issues and this one is also cleared now. You have to update your tool which is available on the internet and save your SHSH blobs.
The developer of the tool said about the update:
“Thanks to an especially determined user (@szr8) I finally squashed a nasty bug that caused Windows users’ TU to crash on startup. Apparently it was something stupid that I was doing that I thought i wasn’t doing. Either way. Many of you have voiced this issue but now it’s fixed. This fix affects you if TU would crash on startup with “LibraryFinder” errors in the log.”
So this is how it works, You have a problem write it to the developer, if so many users do the same you have a new update coming your way and this is something has taken the Apple to the next level. Thought we don’t have any jailbreak untethered on iOS 5.0.1 but a developer named Pod2g (The same developer who has provided the untethered jailbreak for A4 devices) has promised it within a week so if you want to have that, the saving of your SHSH blobs is necessary do TinyUmbrella is there to help you out.
