Skype is one of the key players in the video and audio calling and since the very time it was produced it ruled out almost every other player in the market. The company in collaboration with the social networking giant Facebook recently launched the Facebook to Facebook chat as there is an option in the chatter box of Facebook Chat which enables you to video call the other friend.
Well Skype has released a new version of Skype for Mac OS and Windows which will enable the users of Skype to video call the Facebook friend from the Skype Desktop Client.
The users don’t have to log in to their account on social networking site so as to call their friends. To call your facebook friends you have to connect your facebook account with your Skype id and then every time you login to you Skype id it automatically imports the friends which are online and you can call them.
News feed is also there so that you can check the status updates of your friends. This is great for those who don’t have time to go the site and mostly use facebook for chatting and calling purposes.
Well this is not it in the new version as many other features are also introduced which include performance improvements such as smoother video rendering during the call on both operating systems. For Windows user, the new beta version also offers the group screen sharing feature but this is for those users who have a premium subscription of Skype.
Well this is quite an ease for the users of Skype and facebook but Facebook might get a loss as this may affect their advertisement scenario a bit. Time will decide things but this is cool feature to roll in by the video calling giant.
Are you a regular video caller of Facebook? What do you think about this upgrade? Do not forget to share your stories if you have any. Stay connected for more updates.
