Siri as we all know is the best voice assistant that ever existed and still we don’t know the potential of the feature. hackers are now working day and night on unleashing the hidden features of the assistant.
Recently we had a hacker who used Siri to control the temperature of thermostat for him and it worked perfectly well. Then we had another brain who manipulated Siri in such a way that it started locking, unlocking and other related functions of the car.
Now we have something again, it is that Siri helps you out with the Bluetooth enabled stereo of your car. You need to have an iPhone 4S properly tethered and then if you press and hold the Home button, Siri will be activated on your device. Treating her as an incoming call, your Notorious B.I.G. playlist will pause before the ready-for-command chime sounds.
This activity of the voice assistant was tested in three cars. Two of them were Mercedes- Benz and one from Nissan. The automobiles used for testing were a Chrysler 300, a Dodge Charger and a Nissan Maxima.
The latter vehicle showed the best results with the assistant. In case background noise and mic placement were two factors which were affecting the performance. The two factors provided a noticeable difference in the listening abilities of the virtual assistant.
