Cheer up NFL fans, you can now watch Super Bowl and Pro Bowl live on the website for the first time in history.NFL and NBC in a recent announcement, have announced the Live tele broadcasting of their Super Bowl and Pro Bowl matches on the official website. According to a video released recently, Fierce has announced that everyone can watch these games now in HD, with added features of DVR-stle controls. Also viewers will be entertained with in-game highlights, statistics of the game and other elements.
Vice president and general manager for NBC Sports Digital Media, Rick Cordella said:
“We don’t want to limit ourselves to people not in front of the TV.”
Interestingly, these broadcastings would also be available for Verizon’s NFL Mobile app for iPhone and iPad. Currently these services are only available for Verizon Wireless customers.
Its not for the first time that NFL has streamed some game live online but as we all know that Super Bowl is the center of attention of so many television viewers and it everyone is very hopefully that its gonna break the record of last season’s Packers-Steelers matchup drawing 111 million viewers, a record U.S. audience for any show.

I had no idea the Packers-Steelers matchup had over 111 million viewers, that blows me away. I do sometimes think to myself sometimes why settle for just a few events, when you can stream anything in you entire programming lineup and do it live? I do work for DISH and I know the Super Bowl is the most watched sporting event of the year and I wouldn’t want to miss it. One day at DISH Network I found out about the Sling technology that allows you to take your TV Everywhere by using any internet connected device like smartphones, laptops, and tablets to watch your TV remotely. I can use this technology to schedule programming and watch recorded shows in addition to watching any live TV I want. It’s something to look into for sure.
