Seven inch tablets are not in the market anymore after besides the HTC Flyer and the Acer Iconia Tab A100. Companies are now planning to release tablets around 7 inches display. Samsung has revealed 7.7 inches Galaxy tab lately and a rumor is in the air about Amazon that it is also preparing to launch a 7 inch tablet. Motorola is in the list as it is evident by the leaked picture.
If we analyze the leaked image, there is a logo of Motorola in the top left corner of the device and the operating system is said to be Android. May be it is Android Honeycomb or Upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich. It is impossible to tell for sure from the image but chances are there that it could be any of the two.
This one will also probably fall in the Xoom series. the structure is very sleek and slim as it can be seen in the image with tapered edges and smaller screen. The color so far in the image is white or silver and angular corners of the tablets are like Nokia N8 but much slimmer than that. We just hope that it also comes in black color, but one has to wait to go for the full specs.
The one who leaked the image also told a bit about the features like micro USB-and micro-HDMI ports and a 16:9 screen aspect ratio. The leaked image was first published by ThisIsMyNext and it was also mentioned the Sanjhay jha, the CEO of Motorola hinted about the release of 7 inches tablet possibly launching this year, at Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in February.
