Apple is one of the most popular cellular company across the globe and this popularity is due to the most beautiful, stylish and compact devices ever made. The devices running in iOS are real anticipation. After a single release people start talking about the new upgrade or the next launch.
These days the new generation of iPhone i.e iPhone 5 has created a hype in the mobile users and the demand is getting out of control. The demand for the unreleased phone has set a record and no other version of iPhone had such a demand than iPhone 5.
The too long launch of the phone has created a curiosity in the costumers and they are willing to get one in their hands as soon as the phone hit the shelves. According to a survey of 2200 people who are the potential buyers of cellphone, more people are willing to get the new iPhone than those who were ready to buy the Phone 4 when it was about to launch.
ChangeWave Research conducted this survey last month to check out the demand of such an anticipating cellphone. according to it 31 percent of the total 2200 customers who are keeping an eye on new releases as to get one phone for them said that they will end up this search by having iPhone 5 in their hands.
13 percent of that 31 percent said that they are “very likely” going to get the phone and 18 percent said that they will get it like “somewhat likely”. Comparing these numbers to the time when iPhone 4 was about to release, the same number was 12 percent and 13 percent respectively, This survey shows that the demand has gone unparalleled for the iPhone.
The reason behind this upgraded demand is that costumers have waited so long for this new phone and its release date rumors have curios everyone. Among those who already have an iPhone, 66 percent of them said that they will go for the upgrade no matter what but previous users may have skipped versions which have been released in between.
One more reason of the high demand is that Sprint, the new carrier of iPhone in US has offered this iPhone with unlimited data plan. This is not available on AT&T and Verizon so Sprint costumers are also going to get that. 54 percent of the Sprint users said that they are very likely going to buy iPhone 5, according to the same survey. Another survey has noted that half of the t Mobile users said that they will get the new iPhone 5.
The unlimited data plan offer is very interesting so far and this really has taken the demand to a new level. Though Sprint is a new carrier in US but this feature will help Apple to get a huge revenue.
