How to Make Facebook Chat Emoticons

Everyone loves to put emoticons in their chat or comments on Facebook, as they describe the best how a person feels like. Online communication with family, class mates or friends is much more fun with emotes. They add a personality to message and depict your mood; whether you are being sarcastic or are happy, sad or goofy without having to use words. If you are at a loss of words, simply put emoticons and you are done.

Unlike MSN messenger and others, we are not able to put our own smileys into Facebook chat. Instead, there are standard emoticons which are easy and can be made with just a few keystrokes. They can be inserted alone or in the middle o any text. The easiest way to use a Facebook emoticon is to employ the built-in smiley code in the system. If the code is correct, you will get them changed for pictures of smiling, sad or other standard faces. Here’s how to use these emotes.

1. Choose emote you want to use from the following. Type its respective code in chat box.

2. A dash (-) can be inserted between eyes and mouth, if you want to add Nose to the face.

3. Enter two spaces after the smiley face and before beginning the next sentence.

4. Rage comics are a new viral romance on Facebook. You can now use Rage faces in your Facebook chat box too. All you need to do is to type the code of respective face, and the face will pop up in your chat box.
