Facebook has ruled every one out and it has now become the biggest social network that has ever existed on the face of the internet. The only reason for this much success by this technology giant is the innovations which it has been making. The evolution is the basic most thing to survive and the creative heads at Facebook know it.

Facebook recently released a new interface of users’ account which is called Timeline. It allows you to mark the status updates and other stories which you don’t want to lose. They will appear on your timeline and it is like a story book. You can view all the updates from the past, from the time you were born on Facebook. It splits your account interface into two halves. Though that feature is creative one but many users just hate that. We have received many queries on how to remove the timeline feature from your account. Here is the solution.

Here is a simple trick as Facebook timeline is not compatible with the older versions of the browsers. So if you are using the older version then you will be have the  older look of the feature. If you have an updated version, then you can change the Compatibility to Older browser.

Here is how to get that trick work on Google Chrome.

    1) First of all take your cursor to the Google Chrome icon on your desktop.

    2) Now right click on the icon and choose “Properties” from the the list. It will open the dialogue box of the settings of Google Chrome.

    3) In the dialogue box, there will be a TARGET Text box which has URL to launch Google Chrome. All you have to do is to copy and paste the following code in that Target panel after “chrome.exe”. Do not forget to leave a space after chrome.exe and then paste the code.

    Following are the codes

    1) For Windows XP

    –user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)”

    2) For Windows 7

    –user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”

Note that there are two hyphens in the beginning of the code.

    4) Now you have to click apply and then to OK.

Congratulations you have successfully done it. You have basically changed the code for opening the Google Chrome for launching it from your desktop. Now when you login the facebook, you will have the old layout of your profile. Timeline is simply gone.

This trick has only worked for Windows so if you have any queries about it, feel free toask us and for mre news and updates, stay with us.
