2) Scan the App Store
Before you go for having an app from App Store, make sure that you make a search. There are some copycat apps are so brazen they will steal the underlying code, the name and the icon of the original app with minimal changes. Having a looks on the app brands and color themes will help you identify them. you might come across with the app named Angry Birdy with the same red flags and you might be downloading that one mistakenly. So have a look before you go for it.
3) Read out the comments on the App
This one will never deceive you. Do not forget to check out their views of those who have already downloaded that particular app. They will say what ever they will feel about it and if it is a scam, then you surely be having a look on some filthy type of comments from users who got trapped. So they will be saying clearly not to go for that app as it is a fraud and other stuff.
4) Have a look on the Developer’s history
If you are planning to have a particular app then before you buy it, do not forget to have a look on the history of the developer. If the developer is legitimate then this will also give you a green signal to go with it. Experienced developers have many apps in the App Store and if your developer has multiple apps then simple download it. If there is not any history available about the developer, then this might be a risk and its better not to go for that one.
5) The time App was updated
Once an app is approved, most scammers won’t take the time to update a title. They remain in the app Store and the sole purpose of their existence is to make money and the developer does not bother to develop or improve their title. Underneath the “Buy App” button, you can find out the last update, app version number etc. This will also help you identifying the reality of the app.
