Google, one of the most significant brands in the Silicon Valley has recently added coupon redemption and other features to Google Wallet. The service is the Google’s platform in which you can easily pay your bills and payments with your smartphone.
The Google Wallet is an extraordinary service recently launched on September 19 and the service was only available to the Sprint’s Nexus S 4G smartphone.
With the new service the users having the Sprint’s Nexus S 4G smartphone will now be able to make payment through their smartphone, redeem coupons and earn rewards points with just a single tap. As all is get done with the single tap, the service is also named as “Single Tap”.
When at initial the service was launched, the search giant faced the criticism that the service is only available in Sprint’s Nexus S 4G smartphone which may not complete mobile payments on every retailer which was in the list Google provided.
According to the Google, the same tap which is used for mobile payments can also be used for the new coupon redemption capability. When a user walks into a store and pays the bills through smartphone, at the same time redeems coupons without the need to find them or a rewards card.
All those retailers which are offering the Google Wallet service from now include American Eagle Outfitters merchandise, The Container Store products, Macy’s stores, OfficeMax and Foot Locker, and Jamba Juice.
Many of them are also offering discounts for example you get 15% off on Macy’s Store, 10% off The Container Store Product, a $2 all-fruit smoothie at Jamba Juice and a flat 15% off purchases at American Eagle Outfitters. This is great and all those who are the follower of these brands, its your time to have some shopping with your smartphone.
Google Wallet, when it was released was not that much effective and it had some flaws which Google is looking forward to fill in. This news is one of the things Google is doing to make Google Wallet a big hit. Leave your comments.
