Whenever we hear a word ‘internet’ the only word or URL we get to remember is Google and same is the case with almost every user who is a user of internet but when it comes to the social networking you’re your friends and family, Yes the Facebook is the prior most thing to get into our minds.

Google and Facebook has came up to the horizon of the Silicon Valley as the competitors as Facebook is certainly the king of all the social networks till date but Google is also ruling the Silicon Valley with the very powerful search engine. The rivalry got heated when Google, social giant launched a very own social network named Google Plus, which is no doubt giving not that much tough time but still Facebook has to keep an eye on it.

The two search giants are in the state of war since the release of Google and who is getting the advantage? The users obviously, the two giants have been recently bringing some very new, ravishing and exciting features so as to take down the other. Facebook has the agendas of “Share everything” which might not be the preference of many of the users. Google has now shot right in the spot and came up with a new feature which surely is what a number of users required.

The new feature is the better privacy option. Facebook has the option that once you upload the status or image or a video, you can change the privacy setting of that [particular post and customize the sharing that which friends will see that and which friends will not. That does not make any sense, what if someone you don’t want your update to see has viewed it before you could customize it.

The requirement is that you should customize it before sharing leaving no chance for anyone to see it. This is now possible in Google+, you can now easily unable comments or customize the sharing settings of the post before updating it. Now that surely makes sense, isn’t it? Also if you want that no one from your friends share your post, you now can lock it before updating. This is something real cool by the search giant.

Google has dealt its card and all we have to see is what Facebook does in response. A simple drop down option is appeared having two options which “disable comments” and “Lock this post” you can select any one according to your requirement. Both the options can also be selected if you want to, and then you can share it to the main stream. This is very simple but very demanding feature Google came up with, surely this will help the search giant to grab some good users who want the privacy more than they are offered at the social network giant.

Do you like this feature? I do for sure. Have a Story? Share you thoughts and for more news on technology around, keep visiting us. Looking forward to your feedback.

It would be great if you could lock down a specific circle as a default instead of the default being to open comments or open share.
