Facebook Is The New Yahoo

Facebook, one of the most anticipating social network that ever exist in the silicon valley. Facebook is the largest site having 750 million active users and many of people are having a huge running businesses which are totally or partially dependent on Facebook due to its popularity. It started from a university and then slowly and gradually hold the entire globe. Now every one is on Facebook but the experts suggest that the Facebook is no more innovative and the experts have very strong opinion when they say so.

The company has tried many different things in the recent past but it has failed many times and users are not thrilled by any of the new feature. We will now consider the different many new launches Facebook tried to thrill the active users across the Globe but infect those all were copied.

In the world of Silicon valley, if you have to succeed then he only thing that can work is the right timing and Facebook has been successful to hit at the right time. Lets start with the new email stuff Facebook tried to launch with a concept of everything at one place, but hardly no one had any account of fb.com because the giants are already there like yahoo mail, hotmail and gmail.

The search Giant Google then launched its very own social network, Google +. It had some revolutionary ideas and while it was growing Facebook got a new strategy just to follow Google+ and Facebook has been able enough to make it on right time. Google introduced circles which was a very good idea and was an innovative one, but then Facebook introduced groups. Recently smart lists are also introduced with which u can customize the friends of different places which is the basic idea of circles in Google +.

Another very good feature that was introduced by the Google+ was the Hangouts, in which you can video conference upto 10 friends in a circle. This is something Skype does not offer yet. After a week ago, Facebook launched its Video Chat service in collaboration of Skype. Hardly anyone uses that feature of Facebook anymore. A very recent entry by Facebook is Subscribe option which is the core copy of the Google + in which you can public your posts so that anyone can see it. Statistics also show that the number of users from the countries who used to have maximum users like USA, Canada, Uk, Rissia etc are increasingly decreasing.

There was a time when the same position in the market was in Yahoo’s hand. That is why experts suggest that Facebook is the new Yahoo. Yahoo used to be the hottest company in Silicon valley though it has not died yet but still it has not able to manage so much traffic. That is also the fate of Facebook. It will not die like others have, It will be making revenue and will continue gaining users like Yahoo do, but it will be abandoned sooner or later.
