Cydia now offers ShSH blobes for iOS 5.0.1 and signatures are available side by side with the release of iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak. With the public release of iOS 5.0.1, Saurik, Cydia has started caching blobs once more and that too at a very perfect time, right when jailbreak is releasing. Chronic Dev Team is releasing the Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 followed by the release of iOS 5.0.1.
Apple, in order to ensure that the users are operating on latest firmware on their servers, has opted for individual verification.
SHSH blobs are the signature files which will be verified against every individual user by Apple at their servers. Purposely, users will be able to restore to older iOS versions only after downgrading these firmwares.
Just after the iPhone 3GS was in the market, Apple wasn’t contented with local protection system only soa method was devied and every user on the server is now bound to verification at every restore.

I know this is just BS he said he was going to release the Untethered Jailbreak for older devices ! then takes his word back! I’m happy with a semi tethered JB I’m not going to stress for a untethered. They BS to much but I’m one of the people that donated a nice amount of cash to the prick.
