We all have entered in a new year and we also wish you our readers a very delightful year ahead. but at this time we will have a look back on the apps we had in the past year. We will see some of the widely used applications from App Store and the jailbreaking community as well. The applications are the real beauty of the iOS and every body that uses any iOS device must have a bunch of applications installed.
1) Netflix for iPad
The one of the app which is from the App Store is the Netflix from iPad. The app is quite old for now but in 2011 it has been almost changed completely. The interface and the design of the app is quite stepped up.
The content from which you go through while using this app is quite smooth and is suitable for the display we have in the widely used tablet. In this app you can find the videos and movies while by browsing through the posters and the design is made in such a way that it focuses on the visual abilities of the users.
Netflix is quite a colorful app and is one of the best apps around by the App Store. Above all the app Netflix for iPad is free and monthly subscription is required for that application to run.
2) Tweetbot (Twitter Client)
Tweetbot for iPhone is also one of the famous applications of iPhone around. It is the widely used Twitter client and the application has been receiving a bunch of updates since April 2011. The design and functionality is quite good and the users are quite delighted with tha app. Many jailbreakers have also released some tweaks which provide the app some more functionality. The application is available in App Store in just $2.00.
3) Spotify for iPhone
Spotify is in the list as well as it is the best solution for the music streaming around. The United States has got the Spotify service in 2011 but the users other than United States have been using Spotify for quite sometime. There is a splendid Mac app fro Spotify also available and now there is an official client for Spotify in iOS App Store as well. It is rather best option than iTunes as many of the users think so. The small monthly fee makes it quite attractive to buy and download the music.
4) Pulse News for iPhone
Pulse News for iPhone is one of the largely used application for the users who are keen to have an eye on the current affairs and news. All the news loving users will be having this app in their devices due to its user friendly interface and design. The same app for the iPad was quite famous and the same app for the iPhone came in 2011. Since then it has gained many updates and more features are being added in this app. The app is available in the App Store on the Apple Website for free.
5) Sky Go for iOS
Sky Go for iOS is also in the list because it is very friendly application for all the Sky Go subscribers. For all the European Sky Go subscriber, they can now subscribe the live TV and on demand movies over 3G connection from this app. The access to the news posts is also there in the app. The application is available in the App Store as a universal download for Sky Go for iOS free. So if you are a subscriber then it is the time to have a live TV in your mobile.
Now we will move to some of the applications and tweaks which are not available in the App Store but are there in the Cydia. They are there due to the courtesy of Jailberaking Community.
1) Springtomize 2
The application is one of the famous application you have from the jailbrekaing community in the last year. The applications functionality and innovation is quite appreciable. What it has is that it unifies almost all the major jailbreaking apps and tweaks at one place thus making it very easier to find and use any of the jailbreaking application around. The new version is also released which is developed by Filippo Bigarella who has taken the design and functionality to the next level. If you have a jailbroken device then Springtomize 2 is one of the must have applications and is available in the Cydia for just $2.99. So you must have to check this one out if you never tried this before.
2) IntelliScreen X
Intelliscreen X must be at the number one among the jailbreaking applications. The application is one of those applications which has been in the news in the whole year. The app is available in the ModMyi repo for $9.99. There is also a free trial offered in case you don’t like it. The application is quite famous among the jailbreakers.
3) Dreamboard
Every one wants to change the looks of themselves and the belongings they have. We change haircuts to have a new look and we change the themes of our rooms by painting it differently after some time. Same is what Dreamboard does to your iPhone, It gives your device all new looks as it changes the theme of the device. If you are fed up with the typical spring board outlook of your device; nothing to worry as you can change it according to any other operating system we have in Smartphone. You can change it like Android, Windows 7 or even a Kindle Fire.
