Apple does not like piracy and hacking. Steve Jobs, the visionary behind such a great brand has filed many lawsuits against hacking and jailbreak but couldn’t affect any jailbreaker. Moreover the courts in the United States have made hacking of iOS legal. What Apple is left with is to fight the jailbreak community by developing those technologies which cannot be attacked. Apple is actively doing so as some of the hackers suggest that it is not possible to jailbreak the Apple 1080p Apple TV.
Yesterday we had that blog by the Chronic Dev in which things were explained in detail. The focus was on the details on why the new 1080p Apple TV is most difficult to jailbreak. If you have gone through that then you must have realized that there is no stock web browser on the Apple TV. Among the other reason which makes this device hardest to be hacked are lesser services and a new chip. These things leave very less area from where the firmware can be attacked. So the hackers thinks that the jailbreak is simply impossible.
According to the tweet hacker Nito TV said: “also to be clear there is no appletv jailbreak coming either. not even close. sorry”
Well that sounds disappointing for many users but they must not lose hope as they are working on it. What they said was the present situation of the progress but that doesn’t mean that the community has stopped making attempts.
In another tweet, he said: “@AngelComa we are workiin on it, just no leads as of yet. doesn’t mean there cant be a lucky break. just trying to manage expectations.”
The hackers are being realistic but hope is there and we also hope to get some good news from the jailbreak community which has never disappointed us. Hopefully we will soon be writing about this 1080p Apple TV jailbreak. We will update you if we get any lucky break.
